Rachel White teaches fifth grade. She is a graduate of Samford University and earned a Bachlor's Degree in Elementary Education. She has continued her education with professional development including AMSTI and ARI-PAL training.  Currently, she teaches six classes of Science to over 160 students and an Exploratory class to 31 children.  According to White, teachers, parents, and  community work together to make HMS one of the best middle schools in Alabama.
