Ms. Lynda Wilder has been teaching at Hayden since 1974.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montevallo in 1974.  During her career at Hayden, she has completed her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, an Administrative Certification, and her Educational Specialist Degree in Administration.  Ms. Wilder loves teaching; but her favorite subject to teach is math.  Her hobbies include storytelling, reading, swimming, and playing piano.  She loves to curl up in a chair and read a good book, or share a story with anyone that will listen, or swim in a pool, lake, or in the Gulf, and to sit at the piano and play a tune. Ms. Wilder continues to strive for excellence in all of her educational practices by staying involved with professional development activities.  Ms. Wilder considers herself lucky to have worked at a job that she still loves.
