Margaret Plyler graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Technology. She completed a one year internship at  Carraway Methodist Hospital to become a certified medical technologist.  She returned to college to receive a Masters of Elementary Education from University of Montevallo.  She is also "Highly Qualified" and certified in science for grades 4 through 8.  She is in her 12th year of teaching and science is her favorite subject.  She is presently teaching 7th grade life science at HMS.
