Jodi Powell is a graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School and Samford Univeristy.  She has been given the opportunity to teach in three different states now since her schooling and is using that experience to better enrich her current assignment at Hayden Middle School.  Jodi, her husband, Jeremy, and their two precious daughters, Emma, 4 ½, and Abbi, 2, all live and serve in the Hayden community.  Some of her passions about social studies are government and recent United States history.  She is a presidential junkie as well as a fan of world cultures.  When not studying those topics, Jodi also loves to be in the kitchen, shop, play volleyball, softball, sing, and watch movies.  Most of her time currently is consumed with her family and her church.
