Rebecca Maniscalco graduated from the University of Alabama is 2005 with an undergraduate degree in Secondary English Language Arts.  After graduation, Rebecca was very blessed to be hired here at Hayden Middle School where she has taught for the past four years.  Since being hired, Mrs. M has taught sixth and seventh grade reading and English.

In August, she graduated from the University of Alabama with a graduate degree in Library Information Science and received her new assignment as the Library Media Specialist.  Mrs. M is loving her new classroom and enjoys seeing all of the students at HMS.

Mrs. M has also been blessed with a wonderful husband and an amazing daughter.  Mr. M also teaches at HMS and they enjoy working together every day.  Mackenzie, their daughter, is 19 months old and the light of their lives.  Mrs. M also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and shopping.  Her goal is to aid in creating lifelong readers and learners.
